The concept

Set your anchor before you fly

The Mission Specialists who get the most out of HASSE Space School are not the smartest in the room. They are the ones who decided why they were going before they left home. A goal you can name is a goal you can hit. A goal you can measure is a goal you can win.

So before anything else: get clear on what you want out of these twelve days.

◆ BTB · Brief the Bot

Meet your first crew member that isn't human

Here is the rule that separates a Mission Specialist from everyone else: you do not ask AI to do your thinking. You brief it, the way a flight director briefs a crew. You give it the mission, the constraints, the goal. Then you judge what comes back and keep only what is true.

Try it tonight Open any AI assistant. Brief it like this:

"I'm heading to a 12-day space-mission program at NASA. Here are my three goals: [list them]. Pressure-test them. Which one is too vague to measure? Which one is really someone else's goal, not mine?"

Read the push-back. Keep what's true. Throw out the rest. That judgment is the skill.
